Number Porting

Number porting is the process of moving your existing telephone number or numbers from one technology to another. Number porting is usually involved when you move from a traditional analogue or ISDN service to one of the newer technologies such as hosted or SIP trunks.

Porting your numbers allows you to retain your existing numbers regardless of the technology you want to move to. It means you won’t have to spend any time or money updating your website, marketing and stationery with new numbers. It also means your customers can carry on ringing the numbers they know.

How long it takes for us to move your numbers from one service to another is dependant on the type of product involved. It makes no difference who your current provider is.
